This week at Vibewatch — Oct 2–8

The weekly report has a new design, and Slack, email and Notion now render it the same way. Plus a short daily brief on those same channels, Discord forum channels and public threads, connecting a source Vibewatch found takes one click, and message translation scales with your plan.

New

  • The weekly report, redesigned. Previously each delivery channel rendered the report its own way. Slack, email and Notion now follow one layout, the webhook digest follows it too, and the Slack preview matches Slack's own light theme. Open it on the demo org.
  • The daily brief. A short daily summary of your community, delivered on the same channels your weekly report already goes to. In Slack it leads with a numbers box and a carousel of the day's themes.
  • Discord forum channels and public threads. Vibewatch now collects both, so a conversation that happens in a forum post or a thread counts the same as one in a channel.
  • One click to connect a source Vibewatch found. When a scan turns up a source you own, connecting it no longer takes a second trip through setup.
  • A failed report week recovers on its own. If a week's report fails to generate, Vibewatch retries it, and you can also retry one by hand from the reports page.

Improved

  • The sample reports on the demo org are the real thing. They are now generated by the same formatters that build a customer's report, so what's on the demo is what Vibewatch sends.
  • Message translation scales with your plan. Previously each plan allowed 25, 100 or 500 translated messages a day. It is now a fair-use ceiling sized to your plan's monthly message allowance, and the pricing page lists translation as a feature rather than a daily limit.
  • Discord tells you when it cannot read a channel. If a channel you picked can't be read, the picker says so, and the warning carries through Sync Now and the preview, worded for the person who has to go fix the permission. The picker now also marks what kind each channel is.
  • Sources connected after onboarding backfill properly. Adding an integration outside the setup wizard now runs the same durable backfill as one added during it, so its history doesn't come up short.

Fixed

  • The Stacks Vibe Index report reads on a phone. Activity rows fit narrow screens and keep their table structure for screen readers.
  • Onboarding accepts any number of Nostr npubs.

By the numbers

  • 13,802 messages read in the last 7 days.
  • 47,536 in the last 30.
  • 215,544 scored since launch.
